Welcome to our Great Loop website! For
all those who would like to see what traveling by boat is all about,
come along with us on our second journey. Our first trip in
2003-2004 covered about 6,000 miles on the great loop along the
east coast, through the Erie Canal, around the Great Lakes, down the
inland waterway to the Gulf of Mexico and eventually back to
Florida. This time we're starting from the Florida Keys and will
proceed northward, at least up to Chesapeake Bay, but maybe as far
as eastern Canada. With an old boat and unpredictable weather, one
never knows.
